The EVERSAFE Bonded Granular Activated Carbon Block Cartridges are designed for long life filtration of water for chlorine, taste & odor, and sediment reduction down to 10 microns. Manufactured entirely from FDA-compliant materials, these cartridges are suitable for potable water filtration, as well as many industrial, commercial, and food service applications.

The Bonded Granular Activated Carbon Block Cartridges have a 10 micron rating at 90% (5 micron rating at 85%) efficiency, which gives them a much higher dirt-holding capacity than our competitors in the market. The higher micron rating prevents cartridges from plugging before their adsorption ability is exhausted, maximizing the capacity of the carbon.

EVERSAFE's versatile Double O-Ring design end-caps ensure a ZERO BYPASS effect for optimum performance.

The unique bonding process ensures that the carbon filter is
exceptionally uniform, giving a strong, porous, permeable and
effective filter, with in-depth, efficient filtration and adsorption of
particulates and dissolved organic and inorganic impurities. This
makes them one of the most efficient methods for filtering chlorine, volatile organic compounds, chlorinated hydrocarbons and other contaminants. The outer pre-filter wrap is designed to intercept gels and large particles that can cause premature filter clogging. Both the netting and the outer filter medium are abrasion and impact resistant to protect the filter from damage. Designed to provide extended dirt life and remove silt-size particles that contribute to filter clogging. The thickness of the pre-filter medium provides a large volume for dirt retention without increasing the resistance to flow. Although the bonding method of production eliminates degradation of the carbon, the fines filter gives added protection to prevent the release of carbon particles during filter start-up.

The total filter package is encapsulated using polypropylene end
caps securely bonded using hot-melt. Finished filters are designed
to provide optimal integrity and protection to the filter structure, with a high-integrity seal.

NOTE:
The cartridge will contain a very small amount of carbon fines (very
fine black powder) and a new cartridge after installation should be
flushed for 5 minutes to remove all traces of the fines from your water system prior to using the water.

For Drinking Water Applications, do not use with water that is
microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection before or after the system.
